Does anyone have any experience with suncoast or happen to know how well their hoods fit? I've been looking around for a while and I see alot of the "You get what you pay for" speeches going around and I think that a $820 hood should probably fit right haha. But if anyone has any experience or input or anything it would be much appreciated. Thanks

 

I have a Suncoast SS Hood on my 94 Z28. I have had it for about 6 years. It fit very well and the body shop had no problem lining it up with the body lines. The only problem I have had with it is that the fiberglass has settled over time, and I have slight ripples where the hinges mount and right at the front of the hood where the latch is. It is not very noticeable, but I know it is there. Overall, I have been very happy with my Suncoast SS hood. One word of caution though, I purchased the SS airbox from Suncoast, and it was very cheaply made and ill fitting. I ended up scraping it, as it was horrible. I am using a K&N cold induction kit now. I would recommend the hood, but not the airbox from them, if you are interested in getting that too. Hope this helps.

 

I'd look at the VFN 3" SS hood if you like that type..
