Styling the tail lights questions

I hate the boring regular tail light on the camaro. I went to blackout but after I got hit from behind because the light it so hard to see I decided I need to go another route. My car is white and black so I'm not big on the import looking taillights, but I was wondering what you guys think looks good.

The next easiest option (that's "different" than your stock lights) is switching to LS1 tail-lights ... they're interchangable, if you like them?

Yea the ls1 tailights aren't my favorite either. I like the carbon fiber or black looking euros idea but I would like to see pics of it. Anyone have some?

I guess the signal/brake lights work together on LT1's, but separate on LS1's, is that right?

Yes that is correct. In order to make the turn signals completely interchangeable on Camaro's you have to do some work to the wiring harness due to the turn signals. There are more posts on this if you do a search.

A version with all red instead of the yellow could be a winner. That's the best of the aftermarket ones I've seen. Good find.

On the LS1/LT1 interchangeability issue, could you not "heat up" the lamps and switch the lenses?

Altezzas look horrible on Camaros. Kepp in mind I do like Altezzas on some vehicles but a Camaro cant pull it off. You could always get some export taillights. Click the pics in my sig to see what they look like. With so few options these come out on top of altezzas anyday. I just so happen to have my last set for sale. LMK

There is an all red version just that the pic wasn't as good.

Hey I had these for about an hour to take these photos but here's what they look like if you are curious. These are just the ebay black euros. I ended up going back to stock and using VHT niteshades tint spray. It works great and its not as dark as the other covers....keepin you from gettin rearended!
