I have a 94Z with GFX can be seen at http://www.angelfire.com/falcon/camaro0 and I have just purchased an SS hood and now I can't decide if I should get the Orange 30th aniversary stripes put on? I the car is not a reall SS and I never badged it as one but I just love the look of the Orange stripes! but at the present time I can't really afford to go and get a 97 SS 30th. what do you think?

 

I say no stripes. I'm not a huge fan of the orange stripes. I think plain white Camaro's look awesome, but that's just my taste. Plus the stripes won't look as good with the big super wing on your car.

 

i would say that either way you couldnt go wrong. i think the orange stripes on a white camaro look sweet! by the way your car looks great man! i personally would go ahead and get them in my opinion!

 

Are u planning on getting them painted or vinyl?

 

No stripes they are played out

 

Since I just bought the hood and have to get it painted I would get the stripes painted as well if I decide to get them,

Sweet sweet. B/c ive heard a lot of stories where the vinyl faded the paint underneath...so u mind as well get them painted! And u alerady stated that u were so ya

 

IMO, stripes look good, but not the orange ones on a white car. A white car calls for black stripes

I've got to agree with caspergotaz28 on the hockey stripe suggestion. If those arent your style, then I'd keep it solid white. Good looking car by the way!

I like the Hockey stripes but I have only seen them on LS1's which have a shorter nose and I find it looks classic and cool but I am not sure how it would look on an LT1??? does any one have any pics?

 

yeah i agree, he's already has tons of black on the car, black stripes make perfect sense, why add a third color orange? IMO cars look bests with 2 colors, not 3 or more.

 

Either way u cant go wrong..but theres nothing better then seeing a badass FAST loud LT1 comming w/ racing strips...just my .2
