What are some bulbs that I can put into the stock glass housing?
I've replaced the halgen light in there a few times now while keeping the glass casing around it. I was wondering if there any direct swap in lights that are a bit brighter (but nothing that'll get me pulled over) which will plug right into the stock wiring...

I haven't been able to find any good answers in search except for full conversions.

or get the $40 harness upgrade and put some 100w bulbs in

 

I have the sylvania bulbs and IMO the difference is not worth the money. Your better off upgrading the harness and getting some 80/100 watt bulbs.

 

Where would you look for the upgraded harness?

 

What wattage are the stockers? 50W?

 

i think that's the wattage...

you can do a search on the web or i think summit or jegs sells them. there are a few out there...some are $70 or so....but somebody was making them for $35 or $40 recently.

i think painless wiring makes one.
