Steering wheel

SOMEONE out there must know how to do this b/c i've seen it done on a lot of cars. How are you guys refabbing the leather parts on the steering wheels? i've seen some done in gray leather, red, etc. i want to do a gray one restitched on it. Do i just wrap the fabric over what's there and begin sewing?? or do i have to somehow cut the black leather off first? seems like it would take a long time.

Re: Steering wheel

You just put it over top the stock leather steering wheel. I used www.wheelskins.com . It didn't take too long. It's just sewn in over the top. There's some pics on the site in my sig. Any othe questions, just ask.
