"stcik on" carbon fibre.

gentlemen.

There are some interior peices that I would like to have the CF look to. I believe there is a stick on product that looks like CF.

Can anyone give me some details? Can you do it yourself or is it best applied by an experienced hand? Cost?

Todd had quite a few parts re-done in "carbon fiber look" vinyl.

Doesn't RK Sport still offer the "kit" which is essentially most removeable interior pieces that have been overlayed with Carbon Fiber. I've seen it in a guys car I work with. Damn beautiful, but damn expensive too.

Yup, that is just the look I'm going for on Todd's car.

I forgot he had that done. I guess I should get in touch with him.

Now how the hell do you actually DO all those parts, considering all the curves and such, and if he is using a flat roll of vinyl..

I believe that if you heat it that it will stretch to a point.

I don't think that that is vinyl it looks like he sent them off to get painted with a carbon fiber look from this site http://www.exoticwooddash.com/

I got the vinyl from a local custom car audio store "crank it up car audio"

i think the rksport kit is molded into the shape of the interior pieces and they just stick on i guess.i dunno it seems like a good idea, its real carbon fiber and not the cheesy stuff.and i think its under 200 for all the interior pieces
