stainless steel...billet?
i bought some stainless steel inserts for the "camaro" letters from MBA, and they are some high quality stuff, but now i want to get new badging all the way around to match. i want to replace the three Z28 symbols and the chevy symbol...question is...will billet emblems have the same look as the high polished steel letters? i dont want it to look ghetto, im tryin to do this right, if they wont what will??? what will match the stainless steel emblems??? thanx for all your info...
i really need to kno this...i dont want to go by some emblems and they wont look right against the stainless steel letters...should i get chrome or billet, maybe some type of aluminum, or stainless steel letters if they exist...I NEED HELP thanx
The aluminum will corrode after some time and look dingy. But If you have the time you can polish it and buy some zoop sealer. The zoop should keep it from corroding in the marine enviroment that you live in. That and chrome flakes off in the salt water humid enviroment. Trust me I was stationed in York Town about 4 years ago I know how humid it is there. Go aluminum.
