SS style hood

hey everyone, I never knew camaroz28.com had forums till now! i wanted to ask a question, does anyone know where I can get a SS style hood for my recently bought camaro? I have a black 95 Z28, the reason why I want to replace the original stock hood is because it has quite a bit scratches on it and dents. The previous owner before me raced it and never really gave it TLC. He was forced to sell it because VERY high insurance, and tons of speeding tickets and fines. I want a real SS style that is functional so i can add ram air. I tried looking at RKsport.com but they have two types of hoods which look very similar but priced differently.

If anyone can give me any info about an SS hood, i'd appreciate it!

I'll move this over to the Appearance Section for you...

There are a handful of places that sell the SS style hood. I'll try to round some up for you later on if nobody gets them for you in the meantime

Thanks brent for moving the thread over and thanks to everyone else for their info. If anyone else has other suggestios, then please post! I'm open to all options! I WANT THAT HOOD!
Also, thankfully I found a place yesterday where I can get it installed, I can't wait!!

btw, that is a SWEET camaro you got there aircop. Mind if I ask where you got those rims at? I am also in the market for new rims right now because the custom ones I have now are corroded VERY badily and keep making my tires go flat.

Take a look at my USBody hood on my 95
It's kind of like a SS hood with a twist. (little taller too)
Hope you like

Ok, I know this is a silly question, but I am a n00b owning my first f-body ever. If I did get the SS hood, um...water wouldn't get in through the hood into the air filter say...if it rained or I washed the car?

I chose the FFI SS hood. It comes with the grill insert and is great for the price.
