SS spoiler install??
anyone know where i can find a writeup on how to install a LS1 SS spoiler on my 96 SS? i dont know how to take it off and i have heard there is more to it than just replacing it.

yeah you have the 2 center posts now...you can drill holes or some people use 3m double sided tape

I just picked it up and it looks too easy to install. Is there going to be any wiring differences. And the spoiler has old 3m tape on it.

did it and it took all of 10 minutes. all there was is 4 bolts and the harness for the brake light.

Kind of weird to hear of someone wanting to replace the '96-'97 SS spoiler. Did you have an aftermarket spoiler already instead?
