picked up an SS spoiler from this guys 97 SS (he replaced it with the new style) for $200 and it was already Sebring Silver. brought it home, removed the stripes, and slapped it on the car! wow!! it looks so much better than the flat stock spoiler, and the color match was perfect! just thought i would share this with you.

plus the extra $200+ to get it painted! the SS spoilers are the only spoilers i like for the camaros. the 98+ style look more 'pretty' than the 96-97 ones. if i wanted pretty, i would have bought a TA!

I think that the pillar post that are on the 98 & up SS's really give it that extra kick that it needs to make it original from other camaros you see on the road... they give it that suttle yet bad *** look... the 96-97 SS spoilers are still cool, but I dont think that they are noticable enough for my taste, but thats just my opinion. Anyways... why did you take the stripes off the spoiler? It looks like you have black racing stripes on your car in one of those pics?

no, i don't have stripes. i toyed with the idea last year and decided not to go with it. the car the spoiler came from had stripes, and yes, i removed them before i installed the spoiler.

i do like the 98+ spoilers, but for the price of $200 ready to be installed for this one just can't be beat! made a huge difference to me and i could not be happier.

That looks awesome I am glad you got one. I do like the 98+ better, BUT for $200 and THE COLOR of your car, that was the BEST deal I am jealous. I had to have mine painted :P
