SS Hoods fit and finish???

I will be buying an SS hood pretty soon...

I was thinking of going with fiberglassfabricators since their hood is cheaper due to not being functional, since I have read that the ram air on the SS doesnt work properly as it should

Now...

The OEM SS Hood I can get it for $1700 which is super expensive..

The High Tech Motorsports goes for 535+s/h
and fiberglass fab goes for 399+s/h

Let me know what you guys think... If not I will go with my original hood then...

Personally I no nothing about the place listed above. I own an American Sports Car Design 98-02 SS hood and spoiler the fit and finish are top quality. The hood is molded from ASCD's 98 SS I have plenty of photos of before and after pics of my SS hood at my web site.

The hood scoop is functional thee same as the GM SS hood, it uses the GM SS hood scoop grill. Sitting in between two Z28's this past weekend you cannot tell the difference between the hoods (ASCD and the GM).

Now nothing beats the GM SS hood but the ASCD is the next best thing IMHO.

I have the fiberglass fabricators hood. LOTS of Pics in my sig

Photos are BEFORE paint (gelcoat only). There were some MINOR issues with fitment complaints that have been corrected in the new molds they are now using..

I highly recommend them !
