Hey, I'm goning to get a SS style hood for my Z28 and was wondering if any of you knew what the difference was between these two hoods @ www.gmrestorationparts.com

10430312 and 11113

(They're under parts for a 1995 SS, hood related)


Aside from the fact that the V-8 comes with the air box and is functional....................which I don' t need/want since I'm already running a CAI and don't think there'll be much, if any of an improvement perfomance wise.

I would think the V-6 model just doesn't have the "functional" opening.

There is no difference in v6 or v8 SS hoods. It all depends if you buy a functional or non functional hood. I dont know why that website says 1995 ss hood? The ss hood only came on 96+ camaros. there shouldnt even be an advertised v6 ss hood.
