Is the SS hood, the hood with the raised center part, kinda like a big block hood. I think americansportscar.com has something real close to it.

Some one photoshopped one on a LS-1 T/A it looked pretty sweet, but no one has made one yet that I know of.

yea it would. The LT1 birds have more sharpness to them that the LS1's dont have. Any hood other than the stocker or the lt1 WS6 hood just doesnt look right. The LS1 birds have just a plain smooth hood

Suspension looks lowered and feels like a shift kit has been put in, the torque & acceleration occur immidatly as the shift begins and looses rpm's.
If the SS on a Firebird hood isn't bad enough, the sig. needs help.

Suspension appears lowered. Tranny feels like a shift kit has been put in as the torque & acceleration occur immediately as the shift begins and loses rpm's.

SS hood on a bird would looks as right as a WS6 hood on a Honduh. Doesn't fit. Somethings just don't work like that. Part of it is disrupting the lines of the car, the other part is disrupting the heritage.

To be honest - I think the big block hood looks like crap on anything.

The SS hood wouldn't flow well either...

The best hood for those cars are the stock Trans Am hood.
