What's up guys? I'm wanting to get rid of the bland, faded out grill on the front of my '99 SS. I've seen a few of them on the internet with an SS symbol in the middle instead of the bowtie ones that they sell on SLPonline.com. I was wondering how I could go about getting one like that. I've heard you can call SLP and tell them you want one, but you have to give them your VIN #, to verify that it is an actual SS. Is this true? Any help will be appreciated.

This is true, but I believe they will sell it to any F-Body. Dont quote me, but you have an SS anyway so go for it. It is the best looking grille on the market!!!
