My car is soon to be getting an SS hood along with clear turn signals. Eventually I want to get the Wings West Front Grille insert. I thought about trying to get an SS spoiler to complete my exterior, but then I saw the Wings West Commando Style Wing. My car is a coupe w/ t-tops. Ive seen the spoiler on a convertible and it looks really good. Which wing do you guys think looks best on my car?

 

My opinion is biased but I think the SS spoiler looks better. The comando spoiler is a little to ricey (by a little I mean a lot). I can't believe the comando spoiler costs more then the SS spoiler. Here are the links to the spoilers he is talking about:

Definitely go with the SS spoiler, I hate huge spoilers.

I have the camaro super style. I would have to say the SS spoiler or the one I have. The commando is to big and gotty.

If you truely want something else, consider the Mecham Spoiler

 

Personally I would save up and get the SS hood everyone notices the hood. When I switched from my white V6 to black SS most 3/4 of the people I knew thought I painted it black and added the hood, I have had one person notice the spoiler.

 

As we speak my SS hood is being shipped ....I wish it would hurry up

Although my friend has one on his SS and it doesn't look too awful...

i love the exaust tips on the mecham car. i dont see what the difference in that spoiler and the 96-97 spoilders is? and also whats up with z29R? z29 ant bad but red R? come on honda's not that cool. they have an SS truck comin out thats SSR and the R is red and ricey on it too wtf? make it blue or like T or X but why R?

The commando wing doesnt look bad, only if the car is right (i.e ground effects, nice wheels and dropped) But I personally like the on I have. Looks good, is noticable, and not at all ricey.

 

Man I am half afraid to even post my car on this thread but everyone has there own opion and I respect that. But it seems you just want to do what others say. First you said you liked the commando then when someone said they did not like it you said it was ricey. I'm not gonna tell you to get the commando, just get what you want your paying for it right. I will tell you this, the spoiler looks a lot better in person than in a picture. In person I get 20 to 1 that like it to hate it. Plus your car will be different. It all depends if you can take a little critizm once and a while but I think you will be happy. Just take a look at my car in my signature(might have to cut and paste).

 

I love my commando wing (check sig for pics). I have found out everybody here hates them, but I love that. Means less of them running around . Bottom line is, get what you like. Don't do what other people say because of there opinion. I would have missed out on a great styling addition to my car that sets it off from the other Z's that the retired people are driving. People love to voice a Overly emotional opinion on this site, so do what you like and Enjoy it.
