I'm not a fan of spoilers and I was wondering what it would look like if I took mine off.A pic of this done would save me some work and can I use some caps for the holes.Do are spoilers have any function to them?

 

F-bods would look horrible without spoilers. And the ones on the Z28's kinda mold right into the rest of the body, so I don't see it being a big noticeable nuisance if you don't like them.

I know the newer Mustangs look ridiculous without spoilers ('99-'04)

You cant just take off the spoiler. The way the rear fenders come up and sit flush with the spoilers edge. Without a spoiler its squared off and rough. It takes 2 min to pull off the spoiler. Look at it and see, YUCK.

 

You play GT3 or GT4 by any chance?
Well anyways, you can search the web for a pic of the LM Camaro Race Car. It has a huge spoiler inplace of it, but it'll give you an idea. Looks weird to me.

 

Yeah......you can't just *take off* the spoiler on a Camaro......it molds into the fender, unlike other spoilers (i.e. the Mustang).

So, unless you're planning on doing some body work on the back fenders and other stuff like that, you're just gonna have a big gap in between the right and left rear fenders if you take the spoiler off.

 

Ive seen a TA without a spoiler, all I can say is...

 

Camaro's without spoilers look like concordes.

 

to me they look like sebrings without spoilers, when i swapped mine for the SS i kept it off for 2 min to see what it would look like, complete ***!. as for the lm camaro, thay car pulls it off but not for a dd

Here's a pic of my old car with it off. I had it off for a few minutes during a dynamat install. Their was something rattling in that thing so I had to fix it.

Ooh i just had a great idea! custom make some "batwings" to bolt on in place of the stock spoiler!!! WOO!!! (please shoot me now)
