Spent About 18hrs with John (Weiand) Lingenfelter (Polishing)>>

Maybe tomorrow after I finish detailing the nooks, I can start putting it on. About 18 long hours to get the intake to this point...

Have to have the Bling Bling effect...

Before Polishing...

After Polishing...

Dying to get it in place here...

Wow! Looks great!

Can you give a quick listing of the steps and what was used to make it look like that? I need to start polishing some stuff but to be honest, I don't know where to begin

Todd...... nice work, but I think I'd just buy the polished on !
Isn't that intake available from Summit in a polished version for a couple hundred bucks more? Lotta work!

Brent.... go browse around at a Sears Hardware store. They have a reasonable variety of starter kits and what not for "home polishing"

Yep... you picked right up on me wanting to get my car in order didn't you? You are trying to help me get some of my stuff polished up because you know as soon as I start making things look good I'll have no control and place a big ole order like Jason just did

Just kidding Thanks for the pointer! I just bought an 8" grinder/buffer combo but need to do some research to find out the steps/products to use. I'll take a look at Sears. Thanks!

Thanks for the compliments!

JohnL_96Z...$200 more dollars polished. I started this hobby and polished most everything on my SS. My cost after owning the equipment was about $20 plus my free time, lol.

Brent94Z...Here is a write up I did on Polishing tips...

How to Polishing

I purchase most of my supplies from Eastwood.

Hope this helps.
