To me, I don't think they are worth the price you pay. Imagine getting rear-ended....there goes $400~ right down the drain.

I sold both of my pairs for $450 each. I guess they are worth it to some people. I lost money on the first pair, but I made up the difference on the second pair.

And another thing that you need to know...those arent direct dropins...you have to play with the wires, and sockets a bit...

If you have a 93-96 car, you'll have to mess with the wires. In a 97-02 car, you'll need to modify the housing a little bit to fit the bulbs.

You CAN find new OEM ones on ebay if you're lucky. I got mine that were never on a car but were only listed as tri-color lights and not exports. Picked them up for $206 shipped! You don't HAVE to modify anything. Take out the 194 side marker bulb and tape up the socket as you don't use it. The other sockets will fit with some gentle persuasion and don't need to be cut up to work. I never had the lights of my 94 Camaro but I thought they were direct replacements.

It'll take a little work to get them in and that's easy enough....it's just getting them out would be a bit of a problem.

Getting them out isn't that much of a problem. I tried to put LED bulbs for the tails and they were blowing fuses(APC crap!) and just took a little wiggling and twisting to get them to pop back out. I didn't want to hack up the sockets on the car and really didn't feel like cutting up my brand new lights!

Re: Special overseas taillight style

I posted a how-to on these a while back. The site navigation is still a little off, but I'm still working on it. To me these are the best looking tail lights b/c they match the body lines perfectly.

I didn't know you still had a site!
You're old one went out, and I had no clue you built that one.

I used your old page to help install my '97+ tail lights the first time.

Re: Special overseas taillight style

Hey!

Yeah, I wanted to have my own server/website that I could maintain easily, so I'll be working on it from time to time! Hopefully this one won't dissappear like the last one! Glad to hear that the site has been helpful to some though! Thanks for letting me know!

Take care
Daniel

Well man, if you really want them, here's your chance.

Go to ebay and look for item #8044190682

Don't think it's going to be cheap though.
