Sometimes I love Japan

I was bored and trying to research a Camaro event that happened in Japan, and found these images. I don't speak Japanese, so I had to translate. Check out this pics of "MAZIORA CAMARO SHIMIZU SPL. (Base: GM Chevrolet CAMARO SC '93) " taken at the 2007 ***uoka Auto Salon.

Check out the HVAC *****!

There are a lot more pics here:

Unrelated to that, these pictures came up in my search too. I remember seeing this car a long time ago in one of my searches. It was used on a TV show in Japan. Something similar to Ultraman I think.

The chameleon car has the Sniper kit on it. Man, that's a rare set of ground effects. The Vizages kit that I have on my '93 is based on it, but the rear lip is different. The Sniper rear lip looks like a diffuser. If you have any good pictures of the rear of this car, you'll see what I mean.

The pictures used to be out there, but good shots of that kit seem to be harder to find every time I search for them. I wish I'd done what you've done all along and save every Camaro picture I come across.

Edit: Score! I've found that guy's website. Currently digging for pictures.

Here's the Sniper rear lip.

Here's the Vizages rear. It's quite different, though it takes inspiration from the Sniper piece.

BlazeCamaro also has some pretty sweet headlights.

Haha, looks like everyone with a Camaro in Japan hangs out together.

Never knew Japanese were into American Muscle. Thought they were all into Rice Rockets.

That last pic is pretty sweet! Only because the green Camaro's spoiler reminds me of the Camaro race car in Gran Turismo 1 and 2.

Guess we know where the billet headlight covers originated now too that are so rarely seen on Camaros in America (only seen them on two cars on ebay).

The sad thing is that gathering of Camaros there is better than anything I've seen locally.

I kinda like 'em.

There was a black one on ebay a few months ago that had the billet lights, grill and SS hood insert.
