Angry Someone stole my rear bowtie!!!

Well, I had my car parked on the street today while I was at work. And wouldnt you know it, once I got home I noticed that some jackass tried to pull off the bowtie emblem by the Z28 on the back of my car. Man, was I pissed. I wish I could have walked up behind the person that did it while they were crouched down trying to get it off!! I can see how people get locked up for doing stuff out of temporary insanity.

Anyway, the loser managed to break it off about 2/3 of the way so its still got a third of the bowtie on it and the rest is just the sticky stuff that keeps it on in the shape of the bowtie.

Anyone know a good, quick place to get this from?
How about a part number?
Would I just be better off going to the Chevy dealership in town?

Thanks guys and I hope no one messes with your cars. I swear some people just dont want you to have anything nice. Crazy world.

eBay has 'em cheap...

or you could replace it with a '69-70 style Z28 emblem (keep in mind there were 2 different ones)

He was doing you a favor. Pull the rest of it off and the front one too. Now get some Goo Be Gone and take off any adhesive that's still stuck to the car.

Why would you want to remove the z28 emblems completely? I'd understand replacing it, but why would you want to look like a V6?

some people like the 'sleeper' look.

however, i agree with you. i like to proudly display the fact that there's an LS1 under the hood.

Why have the Z28 badges on the car?? I could careless if people knew if I had a Z28 or not. I know what I have, that's all that matters.

"to each their own" sums it up pretty well...why change what works?
