They lack a bit in power (but so did everything in the 80's) but I love the styling. One day I'd like to get a 3rd gen Z28/IROC-Z or T/A project car. They look good IROCVert! A little constructive "criticism" if I may though. Not really even constuctive criticism really. The red one sits pretty high. It could use about 1.5" worth of lowering; maybe just a little more. It'd do wonders for the looks. And just my humble opinion but it'd probably look better without the blackouts too. Blackouts had their time (and I used them for a while) but they're kinda played out now. I tend to like cars better with out them now (and so do a lot of other people). A red IROC that looks similar to yours is what got me into Camaros and maybe even more important; into cars in general. My uncle had one.
In my personal opinion 3rd gens only look good in stock form. Most of the ones i see on here have wheels, hoods and spoiler and they look like a$$. The only good looking wheels i have seen on a 3rd gen so far besides stock is ZR1's. I don't really like aftermarket hoods on them, and they have no good spoilers. I think a good looking stock red iroc Z is hard to beat.
Yeah the black outs on the red one wasnt my choice they were on the car when we bought it (less than a month ago). I want to take them off but my wife likes them and since it is her car not a whole lot I can do unless they get "accidentally" broken. I agree with the lowering of the red one also it sits too high for my taste eventually both cars are gonna get lowering springs, probably Eibach Pro-Kits. As for the hood on the vert I do get alot of critism for it, but I just shrug it off. Around town alot of people like it but on message boards most hardcore F-body guys dont like it. I personally love the hood, because I wanted something different than stock but still kept the stock louvers and to me the hood kinda flows with the lines of the car, There is a red T-top car on base that has the same hood and on that car it looks bad but I have always gotten complements on mine in person.
