yep, thats how u build a sweet custom, that "chicayne" car was featured on "Rides" on the discovery channel its supposedly got like 1200+ hp or something very close to that, the burnout he did on the show was amazing. I believe chip foose had his hands in on those projects as well like the quadradeuce.

The Chicayne was features in CHP along with Troy's own 90-92 Vette. Both were twin turbo small blocks pushing 1100-1200hp. The depths that he goes in to do the custom touches are crazy. Almost everything is a one off. The Orange Peel Camaro was also featured in a mag(CHP or Super Chevy). Truly amazing cars

I second that motion. Amazing what can be done with money and passion.

That’s what I like the most, no side mirrors or door handles, just silky smoothness all the way around the doors pop open electrically by remote. Sinister!

That Fastback belongs to the owner of eBay.
He built it with part's from...eBay.
He bought the car from a user on...eBay.

Troy Trapanier (Truh-pan-yay) and Chip Foose are competitors. I don't believe Foose has helped him with any of his projects - but I could be wrong.

Yeah, I thought Foose wasnt in on any of Troy's work either. Both are extremely talented though.

I still love watching the clips from Foose doing the Thunderbird "Speedbird" and watching time lapse machine work on the wheel. Watching a billet wheel get made start to finish is really something else...

The Vette belongs to John Meany, who owns the company that builds the "Big Stuff" ECU's. The engine is a Lingenfelter 406 with twin-turbos and around 1200 horsepower. I was at Troy's shop when the Vette was being built. The hand-fabricated headers are a masterpiece in themselves. Troy's a great guy, and he builds some completely crazy, fully functional cars.

Troy gave me a Rad Rides by Troy t-shirt

I have some family in Manteno, IL that know his family I guess.

Too bad I didn't get to see his shop
