So are there any dark grey Z06 wheels that will properly fit the F-Body?

I know that the stock ones will not - but are there any aftermarket ones that will? Just interested in the dark grey, I know there are tons of aftermarket chrome, silver painted, and polished ones out there.

Anyone?

Why do you say the stock ones wont fit? I know a car that has them on his Z28, and they fit fine. By fine I mean no rubbing, and they dont stick out.

Factory Z06 rears do not fit on the rear of an F-Body without modifications. Do a search for the words "Z06 hammer" in this forum.

our Z28 has 17x 9.5s ( I do beleive) all the way around.
Check them out at http://www.hpiv.net/zhawk.html

PS forgot this:
The only problem we had is the rear wheels were tight on the rear hub so we used a cutter & cut just a little of the lip off now they go on nice & no damage to the wheels.

Just read your hammer thread.

Whatever happened to the wheels? Did you eventually pound at your wheelwells or did you give up and sell them?

That's the problem - those are aftermarket, they are chrome, and they are made specifically for the F-Body platform. Notice C5's aren't in the list of vehicles they will fit.

I remember Jason's thread from when it was active, that's why I am posting this. I didn't know if there was anyone out there making some aftermarket dark grey wheels like original or not. I would like to have some that were made to fit my car, not some that I made my car to fit.

I suppose it is pretty easily possible to get 9.5"s to fit all the way around, but even that takes some hammering - and how often do you see a stock set of four 9.5"s off of a Z06???
