So do they make deep dish ZR1's?

Probably 17x11's in the non GS offset. Wheels stick out a little and you don't need to massage the jounce spacer or your inner fenderwell. You might need to roll your fender lip if you have a lowered car. Mine rubbed on the pass side in tight turns (coulda used an adjustable panhard bar). I have a set of GS and nonGS rims.

I was just racing against a ZR1 today! (see pic at the bottom of this page). The back wheels definitely have a deeper "dish" if you want to call it that. Where the lug nuts go is much deeper than compared to the front wheels.
Oh, BTW...............stock LS1's don't do well against modded ZR1's!! I learned the hard way!

I could swear that they are not sticking out from under the fenders at all. It seems like they are tucked right underneith the fender edge. This is gonna **** me off until I find a definite answer

Those are ZR1s with the ZR1 offset, just like I have. The part where it's sticking out past the fender is in the front and rear of the wheel arc, not the top. The top of the tire will tuck perfectly if the fender lip is rolled well. And yes, ther inside needs to be pounded in too for taking turns.

ZR-1 offset
The reason they don't stick out on the ZR-1 is because GM flared the wheel openings a bit so they would clear. They didn't want to go to the same trouble on the GS model so they played with the wheel offset to make it fit. If you look closely at the rear wheel openings of a 92-96 C4 and then on a ZR-1 you will see the difference.
