Re: Sneak Peak at Red Alert's Interior

Thanks man, I appreciate it! The carpet looks really grey in the night pictures, but I'm going to go do a photoshoot in an hour or so of the finished dash. I REALLY want red faced gauges, I actually was posting in a thread here a few months ago about getting red faced gauges, but alas my money has run short the past few months with job changes and such. I'm ditching the seat covers as soon as possible, though, no worries on that, I know well enough how bad it is. I was going to use my income returns to get my seats reupholstered with black and red leather, but alas I had to pay for other things. Anywho, thanks for all the compliments!

Crappy photoshop of your possible future (red leather on steering wheel, shifter, e-brake with red console, gauges, AND a carpet that looks more red):

Before:

After:

so.... much.... red....

Looks like a lot of hard work, everyone should enjoy their ride as much as you do. It's not my taste but good work.

Appreciating the comments guys, but check out the Phootshoot and Finished Dash picture thread that's posted here, it's better pics of it all together:

I'm really glad you changed your A/C vents back to black, they looked funny red. I really like all of your new changes actually! Any plans for filling the gap b/t '93-'96 dash and '97-'02 console?

Re: Sneak Peak at Red Alert's Interior

looks like you put a lot of effort into that. kudos on the effort. Somewhere in there is a little too much red for my tastes and there seems to be more of a plastic look and not enough leather or texture in the dash

personally i almost like the before pic better

I must say Meiss. I never really liked your interior, but i love the exterior. I'm not one to flame people who put hard work into their cars, like yourself, but you know, it's your car, do as you will, but i gotta say nice work on the PC though.
