SLP for SS Wheels ??

Is SLP (take offs)

http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...RTNUMBER=80094

the best place to buy the SS rims for my '02Z ? Also do you think the chrom or painted looks better on a pewter w/ black top Z ? Any one have pics of chrom on a pewter SS or Z they could post? Mine has the chrom from the factory and I don't like the look as much as the SS rims. I need some rims for road racing and am thinking of using my stock ones for some racing tires. Thanks, Later>>>>

Im sure you can find a better price on ebay motors? I think chrome looks good on any color car. Go for it man!

I decided on these,

for the price most spend on rims alone, I'll live with the F-1's for the everyday driver. $1119 shipped to my door.

I don't know why so many people rag on SLP. I have had good luck ordering from them in the past. I just got my new SS wheels and F1's in on 1/10/03. I had ordered them right before the end of the year while they were $100 off. They are in great condition, no scratches with the nips still on the tires. They look nice on the car and are very smooth on the road. (Balanced well) Later>>>>

I got that same rim/tire package and couldn't be happier with it.
SLP gave me great service. I dunno why some folks make it a mission to rag SLP either...

My red 98 SS has the ZR-1 style wheels in satin finish and I think the look fabulous. I am not fond of chrome, myself, but that's me. Pretty alloy does it for me. It looks well-machined and purposeful.

A guy who works near me has a pewter 2000 SS with chrome ZR-1s, and it looks pretty good, though, I must admit. Goes better with the pewter than with my red, I think.

To me, the ZR-1 style rim looks much better than the 2000-02 SS wheel.

I've had good service from SLP on the few things I've ordered.
