well slp has got the frieght company to pick up my bad hood, and is going to be shipping me a new hood as soon as they get the old one!..........the fact that slp doesent give your money back on a purchase, just store credit, i guess ill have to wait and see what kind of a hood i get this time........wish me luck........the wheels turn slow at SLP but they do turn! still not happy, but time will tell how it turns out......stay tuned

Hang in there, you won't be disappointed when you do get a "good" hood. I guess I was lucky and my Ultra Z hood was good the first time. I've yet to see an aftermarket hood that fits as good as the SLP. Their customer service sucks, but overall I was happy with my purchase.

I know how you feel. Nothing is worse than feeling like you are getting ripped. No company is perfect, even SLP. I'm sure they probably don't even actually make that hood. Probably subcontract it out. With that in mind, I'm sure that they can do something to make this right and it sounds like they are moving in the right direction. I want to see if this is resolved to your satisfaction. Hopefully this thread doesn't get locked like this one seems to have been http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...threadid=99992 . To me this is one of the best enthusiast sites on the internet because you are allowed to come here and get it off your chest if you feel you are being ripped by a vendor, whether they are a paying advertiser or not. Members try to help and often a vendor can come and defend itself and prove that when something goes wrong that they are going to make it right. I hope that never changes.

 

Update? They've picked up the hood? I'm thinking of buying some take offs from SLP this summer so I'm really interested in seeing how this turns out.
