Question slp rear exhaust tip valance for 01-02ss fit my 96z?!

Hey guys, I have the "corvette style" quad exhaust tips on my 96' z and was looking for a valance that would take away the gap from the bumper to the tips. The only one I could find was the SLP one made for the 01-02 ss. Would this fit perfectly on my 96 (I may need to dremel out the hole a bit bigger but thats no biggie). I just want it to mount up easy and clean. Also they sell "valance tape", wtf is that for?! Also do you guys know how it mounts ( I hope not just with the tape, that doesnt seem sturdy). Thanks-

BTW pics in signature---

Yes the valance will work. the rear end is the same 93-02(excepting the taillights)
Valance tape? I would assume that is some super strong tape designed to hold a valance on...i dunno tho.

Hope that helps!

The car looks nice and i would definitely reccomend the valance.

The valence tape is probably body molding tape, they just sell it to get more $$$ out of you. Personally, I tried having my panels taped on and it looked horrid, I had to go back and screw them right to the body. As far as the valence fitting, just like blahster above said, rear is identical except for the taillights.
