Sitting on M3 wheels(my twin's LT1)

I have m5s and my twin just put on m3's. I know there is a debate over the .65 mm difference, but I'm posting anyway.

My m5 wheels are replicas, but my twins is actual oem. 18x9 on my twins. I have 18x8 and replicas only come in that size, so I am actually looking around for new wheels, plus a car wash screwed up my wheels and I had the hearing already at small claims court. September 16th is the trial. The judge just wants me to bring a witness saying they saw my wheel before and after and an authority on wheels and what wheel cleaners or degreasers can do to the paint.

I like the C5 wheels better than those particular BMW wheels - although there are some extremely amazing BMW wheels out there.

Those pics are worse than the ones you posted before, lol. From the limited POV though I would have to say I agree with BlackBowtie the C5 rims look better.

I like the C5 rims too. That's why I'm getting them.

geez...are you showing us the tires or the wheels???

Here's a writeup...

1. Go get digicam
2. Walk up to car as if you were going to get in it.
3. Once @ the cardoor, don't get it...take about 10 steps backwards (STRAIGHT back away from the car)
4. Did you walk back at some funky angle? If you did...start over at the beginning of this write-up and when you get to step 4 again, walk STRAIGHT back away from the car @ a 90 degree angle from the driver's side door.
5. Take lens cap off camera
6. Take a picture of the SIDE of the car with digicam.
7. Load pic onto computer
8. Re-post that you actually have a picture of the wheels

At this point...if you feel that you are capable of taking closer shots of JUST the wheels...feel free to do so...(just remember the 90 degree rule)

Talking

I didn't take the pics, I just posted them. He said something about when he emailed the first pics that my email address at work wouldn't accept them. He took em over and sent them through fine. His dsl modem is not working and we don't live right next to each other. We know what the wheel looks like I just posted them up to show they sit fine on the car.

BMW wheels belong on a BMW.

I'm changing them anyway cuz some car wash screwed them up. Don't know what I'm getting, but I will post up the two options I've found so far on Monday. I'm sick of dial up. I'd rather use my fast connection at work.

BTW I think a lot of people don't like the fact it's a BMW wheel...I don't think some of the negative opinions has anything to do with the look. That's my opinion, but I could be wrong.

Anyway I do appreciate the feedback. You guys have to admit a lot of our cars have the same old options mounted...c5s, zr1s,zo6s,smoothies, torq thrust...I think I mentioned about 75 percent of what we go get for aftermarket wheels with prices in the 300 per wheel.
