Is that your house? It looks like my dream house--just enough room to walk around inside and sleep + a 3 car garage.

yeah that is my house.
my girlfriend is from fort worth and she was telling me about the prices down there. i wish i could pay DFW prices specifically FW suburbs) and live in colorado weather.
it is a decent house.
3 bd, 2 bad 2015 sq ft, unfinished basement
and the 3 car garage is basically why i bought it

blacktop - nice looking car/rims
i have the top part of car covered in black vinyl to keep the entire top half black. you should put silver vinyl oppisite on my, we can be negatives of each other :P

Fort Worth prices are cheap, but in all honesty (in my opinion) who would want to live in Fort Worth?

Dallas prices... not cheap. In my neighborhood, $400,000 will buy you a 1200 squarefoot townhouse with 1 car garage. If you want an actual house that actually has some room in it, $1.2 - 2.0 million will do. That's why it seems like I'll be renting the rest of my life...

The suburbs can be a little cheaper, and of course the bad neighborhoods can be, but if you want to live in Dallas in a safe area + not have to drive into the city, you pay the price!

...not exactly New York prices, but hey, it's a lot more than the $160,000 for a 2500 sq ft house with 3-car garage I was used to, before moving to Dallas. Just too bad I couldn't get a job in a small city like that. Gotta be in the big city unless you work in oil/natural gas...

i forget where exactly she lived, but i think she paid ~$90k for a 3/2/2 out in the suburbs.

im glad the prices around here arent as high as dallas. i paid ~220 for the house above, which for the house/area/lot size was a pretty good deal (i think)
plus i dont want to live in a big city, colorado springs is big enough for me
