I'm still trying to decide if I should put a different hood on my car. I purchase a Suncoast Z-Style hood about a month ago. I put it on the car, and so on. But I'm still undecided as to what I should do. I would need to paint the hood if I want to put it on my car, since I got it from another guy. He bought the hood so he had and extra hood incase his other hood were to get damaged some how. Suncoast painted for him, but he never installed it on the car. He decided to sell the hood, and I bought it. At the time I thought I would put it on my car, but I still don't know what to do. Anyways, here's a couple pictures of it on my car.

Looks kickass with the stock hood man. I'd keep it the way it is, and I am usually all for aftermarket hoods, but yours looks great stock.

Seriously though, I like that hood and think it would look pretty good on your black car!

 

That's the first time I've ever experienced that I can't get into a car domain site....

 

IMO if you want to upgrade the hood. I would go with a fiberglass ss hood. Those ss hoods look killar - especially on the black color camaros. But Like everyone else agrees either the stock or a ss hood - Those hoods should only be and stay on the firebird/transams. - Mike

The hood is alright. I'm more of a fan of the Ultra Z or the SS hood. IMO. Your car looks great with the stocker on there as well. What it comes down to is what you want. Just my .02

 

I like it, I'd paint it and leave the red like a stripe down the center and get a LG style spoiler

Dump the stock flat-top roof and paint the Suncoast hood dude, no question. Brent will supply the ram-air decals.

 

It won't be a "true" ram air hood. One reason will be the blower that I want to install soon.

 

I would add the new hood and ditch the headlight covers. I hated the set that came on my car when i bought it. Those 97-99 vette wheels look pretty good on your car. Thats rare i use to think they didn't look good on any car.

 

I like your Z Dude, I never liked those dark head light covers but I’ve changed my mind after seeing your car. It has a very nice stance with those Vette wheels; the dark covers with the clear corner lights makes it look quite sinister. I think the new hood will only add to the look. Good job!
