Shifter know for an A4

does anyone have any pics of an A4 with a billet shift know installed? How does this work since you don't have the button to press to move the selector lever?

There is an adapter that bolts on that enables you to just push down on the ball. It also alows you to use regular screw on *****. Here is a picture of my MBA ****. Unfortunately MBA went out of buisness but some of there stuff is still available through vendors or in the forsale section.

Ive seen the shift adapter and ball on http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...vid=4&pcid=202 but dont know if they still have them. I can sometimes see them in the for sale section.

The boot i got from http://www.redlinegoods.com/shiftboot.htm

Here is a thread about his work, which is great. http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...ght=shift+boot

Re: Shifter know for an A4

Well i bought mine a while back from someone on here. Im not sure if anybody still has them, but it doesnt look that hard to make.

You just slide the adapter over the stock stick and screw it in so that when you pust it down it acts as the button did. And its got threads on the top to screw on a ball.

Here is a pic i just took.

Now its hollow inside and just slides over the stock plastic piece then those little screws just screw into the plastic so that when you push down on the ball if pushes down on the actuator so you can shift gears.
