The shifter ball that comes stock on the newer camaro what material is it made of? If I wanted to put it on a shifter handle that was smaller could I fill the inside of it with epoxy resin and then re-drill and tap it to accept the other shifter handle or would I need something stronger?

i am not sure of where to buy them, last time i bought a shift **** it came with about 10 of them.
