Question sequential tailights.... LEDs?

im thinking about doing sequential tailights on my car, and ive read on brents site and some threads on here that heat can be a problem. My car is in primo condition and that includes the tailights... i dont want to warp them like ive seen a lot of on other cars. I know LEDs would not have this issue at all, but are there LEDs out there that are designed for the "dual stage" brightness or whatever its called? sorry im no electrical expert... Just trying to figure out if i have a bright idea or not here ( edit: didnt mean to pun )

Yup, I have some high power 15 LED in a tower configuration with a 3057 base that act the same as a normal lamp inside my taillights. they work great. PM me if you want to know where i go them.
