Seats are finally back to original.

When I got the car last summer, the previous owner had reupholstered the white leather seats with black leather. It didn't look bad at all, but I love the white seats, and managed to find a cheap set a few months ago. I finally got around to putting the front two in today.

Looks good, as they should!

Since I own both types of 4th gens though, I can honestly say I really don't like the perforated leather seats in the 97+ cars though. The leather is much thicker and durable in the '95 Z28 I have, plus the design looks better.

I personally despise perforated leather, but not because of the way it feels. I hate it because every one of those holes are a weak point. Over time, the leather wears out and cracks between the perforations. It's like engineered fail. That's why when we reupholstered my seats, I ditched the perf leather for houndstooth.

Did you have leather in the '95? I've never been in a Camaro with cloth, so I don't know how it compares. I would describe the '93-'96 leather seats as much more comfortable. They seem to have a slightly softer foam than the '97-'02, but that may only be due to how tight the leather is stretched on the '97-'02... I can't say for sure. I just know that if you use a lot of Armor All leather moisturizer on the '95, you can slide right off the seat LOL.

Shock6906, I agree, the perforation sucks. It wears very poorly.
