Cool Seat Replacements

Who wants to recommend some aftermarket seats for my 97 Camaro Z28? My OEM ones are worn to pieces, plus the electric motor just burned out in the driver's side, so I am looking to replace the driver and passenger seats with something new. For information, the car is probably 90 percent street driven and 10 percent dragstrip, and I am somewhat wide in the shoulders. Thoughts? Pictures? Thanks

Re: Seat Replacements

Depends on the price you are looking for, my brother is looking at the new leather racing seats Summit offers for his 5.0(I dont know anything about them personally) I think they are around 200 a piece. If you have money to blow then you cant go wrong with Corbeau's.

What are you planning on spending. Price means a lot. I have Sparco's and love them. Go Sparco or Recaro and you can't lose.

Re: Seat Replacements

Price isn't really as critical as making sure that my shoulders are comfy.. even when new, the side bolsters on the OEM seats jabbed me right in the shoulderblades, so I'd be hoping for something a little better.

Re: Seat Replacements

Have you thought about Ta seats or even Vette seats?

Re: Seat Replacements

If price isn't criitcal the Corbeau CR1's are my favorites.
You need to sit in them yourself though if you are picky. There are several styles of Corbeau's that are comfy - just whichever fits you best.

http://www.autotoystore.com/carrera_corbeau.html - Call him, he has the best prices. He will even let you haggle some.
