Looks good where did you get the kit? It looks alot more white, but how big of a difference is it lighting up the road?

Ebay? No. Eurolights. As for lighting the road, i only got to aim them after i got back from a BBQ so i don't know how well they do, initial aim was terrible.

What I did was "break" the old Sylvania Halogeen bulbs out of the housings and then epox some Sylvania Silverstars in there, then put some electrical tape over it for some added security.

Cost'd me $100.

Hell i got 4 Hella FF75's on my car for $80 and they kick azz. Much better than stock headlights with brighter bulbs.

You're doing drugs if you think HID costs 700 bucks. I'll sell you a kit for $250 which includes 2 Delphi Ballasts and 2 Phillips HID bulbs. For $325, you can have a kit with the lenses, harnesses, bulbs and ballasts.

With far more trouble each time the bulb blows.

700 is a guess at the price it was 3XX per beampair. on their site, i don't remember the exact price. Thats only THEIR parts. no what you use/have.

I bought that kit a few years ago when I didn't know better.

That "kit" is just a housing and a higher wattage tinted bulb. Nothing more.

I saw the same results buying some $20 80w bulbs and sealing them into the stock units as I did with this "kit".

Don't think these won't blow either...

Money is better spent on some heavy duty harnesses.

Gotta clean up the glue or whatever you used to seal it up each time. the kit does one major thing for me. Fixes a problem that i've had since i initially put some damage on the car. the lower screws to the drivers side lights are blocked by the front fascia being pushed up some. now i can easily pop the bulbs out from the back.

You mean to tell me you are trying to sell people ballasts and bulbs with no projector or proper lenses? I seriously hope I never cross paths with your car at night, but if I do, don't be surprised if you have someone finding where you live and taking a sledge hammer to your car.

If you want an HID kit, use some brains, don't shove an HID bulb in a halogen housing. You're only contributing to the temporary blinding of everyone who has to see you on the road at night.
VERY GOOD ARTICLE ON HID LIGHTING -- READ IT.

I just did the same thing yesterday. Gotta try to stablize the lights a bit though. A little wobbly. Any ideas?
