Saw a Ram Air Hood today

Saw a Ram Air Hood today

It was like raised though, it was a lot higher then a normal ram air hood, any one know what kind of hood it is?

i guessing u are talkin about a trans am hood?

maybe a predator hood?

i think its 1 of these its a a vfn fiberglass hood they make aftermarket hoods 3 to 7 inches higher than the normal stock hoods.





i have 1 but its just a reg. ws6 fiberglass hood. ok hood but VFN SERVICE SUCKS

Its most likely the predator from suncoast creations.

Although i saw a guy with a Firehawk that had a hood like I've never seen before. When he came out of store i asked him what kind of hood he had, he said it was a custom fabbed hood he had built out of fiberglass. So you cant rule out a custom hood, especially if you've only seen one like it.

Nah, it looked like a LT1 Ram Air hood mixed with a cowl hood almost.

I think you may be talking about the VFN hood...the guy only showed you LS1 style hoods...Here the LT1's:

Here's the Same Hood but it actually Extends to the Windsheild

I even believe a guy in the HFB is using one on his Carbed Trans Am....That guy Rick (BigRick). If I remember correctly Josh Rys was even talking about getting one.
What color was the car? Maybe it was one of them.

Thats the one, Thanks Nathan. It was agreen Formula on ZR1s. Looked good, sounded good too. I have seen it a couple times at U of H.
