Saw Interesting Flush LT1 Headlights Today

Only saw it in my side view and rear view mirror of a polo green lt1 camaro that was parked to my right. Couldn't get a good look at it, not good enough to determine if I really liked what I saw or not at least.

They looked similar to this, only on a Camaro:

I didn't know anyone made them, anyone else seen this on a camaro?

I've never seen anything like that. I'm guessing you weren't able to get any pictures since it sounds like you were in traffic. Are you sure he didn't just have the clear headlight covers?

Could be, didn't get a good look at it. Either way it didn't look bad.

Do they make clear headlight covers?

Isn't that headlight conversion like a thousand dollars? I think I've seen it for sale on a Camaro site before.

Yes, they do make clear headlight covers, although they're not very popular. Here's some pics from Brent Franker's site.

Thanks man, I wouldn't put them on my car, but they certainly aren't bad. Maybe if I got another LT1 of a different color I'd experiment with them.

I'd like to see those with a stock hood and no bra....I'll have to look.

Good find, CheapGuy. I think they would look better without the molded dual circles in the cover, though. Don't know what the deal is with that.

Thanks. Actually I think whoever car that is, it is sweet overall, and I usually don't care for red cars.

I like car my car basically stock in appearance, with only a few things added to set it off, like clear corners and rear inlays. I've been back and forth as to whether to try clear covers. BTW, I think the ones on the red car are GTS, but I've never seen any other with the molded circles.

That's my car. Nothing but covers and Rytek headlights from back in the day. The car has morped into something else since then and those pics are 10 yrs old. And what the hell does FTL mean? The bra serves a purpose in keeping the bugs at bay that's the only time it's used when traveling 1400 miles or so.

Cool. I had no idea it was your car. Is that the same one that is now silver? Do you have any more pictures of it with the clear covers on it in either color? I'm sure the OP would like to see them, preferrably with the bra off.

FTL means "For The Loss" as in that person doesn't like whatever it was they're talking about. Oppositely, FTW means "For The Win" which means it's awesome.
