Safe to Buff?

I got my car keyed recently and I was going to get the scratch buffed to make it look a little better, but the entire car has to be buffed so there isn't just one bright spot. Is it safe the get the entire car buffed? I have seen this guys work and I have to say it is very nice. Is there any chance of him damaging the paint?

yeah it could damage the paint, but if the person thats doing it is careful and knows what they are diong there should be no problem at all. Otherwise its easy to buff you just have to be careful not to burn through the clear. Basicall dont stay on one spot to long with the buffer keep it moving, adn dont let the rotation of the pad dig into the edges of the paint and dont buff on the edges to much otherwise you will burn through. but if you can afford it i would let the guy do it. It gets done all the time and is normally pretty safe.
