Rubber Dye for Trickflow Elbow Hoses (From Orange to Black!)

I've heard that you can get Rubber Dye at Walmart...and use this to dye your Orange Trickflow Elbow Hoses to BLACK...

Has anyone done this or Know of the manufacturer of this Dye?

Thanks,

It's like ZIT or ZIP but all you do is let the rubber sit in boiling or hot water it's says how to do it on the back

You talking about regular old "Rit" dye - as in www.ritdye.com?

That would probably work - I know you can dye hard (non-pourous) plastic with it - so rubber should definitely take it.

You guys with the anniversary edition Z28's and SS's have it lucky... at least the orange rubber is pleasing to the eye on your cars...

My car has gone through a bit of a transformation...

I think you can get black or colored hoses at www.turbohoses.com ?? I had those yucky blue ones on my vortech and got some black ones from vortech/paxton but still needed one more and got it from that website. Their stuff is not as nice as the ones on the TF kits you guys have though. Don't try and paint them though, trust me. Trying the the dye is the best idea IMO.
