rotor dust covers?

Hey, JC Whitney sells these and i was wondering what anyone thought of them. I'd link to it, but don't know how yet. I was thinking of painting them red, instead of the calipers. Any thoughts?

Are they ok for disk brakes though....I once had a set on my firebird and mad the brakes get so hot b/c they restricted airflow and that my brakes quit working once.

i had the same question, but aluminum dissipates heat pretty well, plus i'm getting slotted rotors next, so it should be ok. my car is black with red badging, red hood inlets, and red square tips, i'm hoping the red peaking through the salad shooters would look good.
