RKSPORT bodykit. Car running warm after install

Does anyone have the rksport lip kit (CA-300) on the camaro. I bought mine used and I'm not sure if a new front air deflector should have come with it.
What is the difference between the stock one and one that is used with a bodykit.

Wow, so they really did use a taller air damn for RS models? Never knew that.

I'm not sure about the RS models because the lip is different then the RKSport. The lip on the RS still allows air to flow through it. The RKSport is solid.

I had the Wings West kit on my Lt1 and it came with an air dam like 3" longer. The car acquired the name snow plow. It scraped everywhere! The car still ran warm with the longer airdam. I ended up hating my gfx because here in Texas cars tend to have an overheating problem anyway. With the ground effects it really did!

My car is lowered 2 inches so I just made a 1.5 inch extension and riveted it on. Any lower and its going to be a real pain in the ***.

Putting on the extension did not make much of a difference. I still run just below half temp.

Yep, on my second one. It's a requirement here in south Texas. I would even recommend it on a stocker. If your living in the northern half of the continent it probably doesn't make much difference.
