rims without lowering
rims without lowering
im thinking about a set of late model chrome 18" vette rims on my 98 Z....with these new rims/tires on the car, is it gonna have a dumb looking stance or any clearance problems without touching the suspension. Anybody have problems with 18s on a stock suspended f-body????
On a stock suspension, you will be fine.
Is it 18x9.5 the size? 275/35R18s should work well, and they are the same diameter as 275/40R17s that many people have (including me) Here's a helpful tire size guide should you need it.
I'm sure someone else with 18s can help you further

My link with pics is in the sig, but I went with 18x9.5 zo6 rims with 295/35/18's with the stock suspension on my 94z. I plan on lowering it before mid may. Right now as it sits there's a slightly smaller gap from wheel to wheel well compared to stock, but the car has been raised slightly (.5"). Its hardly noticeable, but with the sportline springs it should sit very nice. I'd say go with the 18's, you'd be glad you did.
