rim size question?

hi,

i want to put a set of rims on my car.

17's up front and 18's on the back, has anyone done this? what did you have to do for fitment on the rear? did you lower your car at all and keep these rims?

i plan to do elbach springs but can i still do 18's?

You can definetly do it, but most people tend to put the same size all around. 17s front, 18s rear is more of a Corvette thing. 17x9 wheels need a 275/40R17 tire, 18x9 rears need a 275/35/R18 tire. 9 inch wide tires will fit fine, but if you get something wider, like 11 inches, you will need to do some work in the rear ( I don't know exactly what). Those wheels should fit fine if you lower your car as well.
