Reverse Indiglo overlay install help

My overlays were not sent with instructions, has anyone created a how to on this? Like where are you splicing in the red and black wires? Thanks,

Here is how I did mine, which uses the fog lamp wiring which is good since I always leave the switch on.... parking lamps or headlights on and the gauges light up.

Splice red wire from the inverter to the brown wire running to the fog light switch

Splice the black wire from the inverter to the black wire running to the fog light switch

make sure you dont lose your trip reset button! Im looking for one right now because thats what i did...I dont know where to get the little sucker

They're installed. Thanks for the help. I'm going to take it back apart and try to line them up better though, first it needs to get warm here in Ohio.

did you have to take off your needleds? which reverse gauges did you get?

I got mine on eBay from procartparts.com, they have a web site under the same name, too, but it costs more there. They have the best prices I could find and mine works great, I didn't have to remove the needles. Here are their current camaro auctions:

It comes in one big sheet, so first I put the tips of the needles through the appropriate holes, the mph and rpm needles first, and then slided the guage face down over them until they're in place and the little needle stops/rests pop through their holes. Then you just carefully bend the face to get the smaller needles through, the face plate is flexible.
