I wouldn't mind looking like a cop car...maybe they'd finally leave me alone, lol

Personally, I wouldn't recommend doing a flat black panel back there. On a black car, it's just going to look like you've been in a wreck and haven't painted over the primer yet; at least to the casual onlooker. I suppose you could print out a bumper sticker that says "I did this on purpose. It is supposed to look like this"

Here's an idea: chromed berger on a black car.

A chrome panel with black CAMARO letters would be badass! Can you get non-metals chromed though?

Obviously you've never taken a ride in an old muscle car before.

Nah. Flat black is the only way to do it.

Casual onlookers don't even know what a Camaro looks like

I was washing our '95 Z28 today and a guy thought it was a 1988 model. Usually people think it is about a 1999 or something.

Back when I had my 94 Z four or five years ago, a friend of mine loved my car so much he went and got a quasar 94 Z28.

We were both parked outside of his work (grocery store) after his shift one night, hangin out and talking bout the cars. One of the girls he worked with came out to get in her car, and he excitedly said "hey Kim, here it is!" pointing to his car.

She said "that's the car you've been making a big deal about? I thought you said it was fast, -that looks like an old man car".

Soon as she got into her Corolla and drove away we complained about what idiot that drives a Corolla would look at a Z28 as 'an old mans car'.

Sucks, but people really don't know sh** about our cars, except for other enthusiasts. Everyone else has no clue, apparently.

I have a Corolla AND a Camaro.
The corolla definitely isn't sporty at all... it's like an old poor grandma's car.

And of course I wouldn't have a problem with a Corolla... I've got a tC anyway.

Her comment just struck me wrong. Calls a Z28 an old man car, yet she's driving an old woman car. It was like an 89 Corolla too.

Re: "Reverse" Berger Panel???

If a Camaro is like an old man's car, it must be an old man on Viagra, cuz they sure roar loud. My Corolla on the other hand... when I accelerate it sounds like my grandma trying to get out of a chair.

I'm going to be trading the Corolla in for a 2004+ Grand Prix in a few years. I can't stand how the car is made for short people. I'm only 6'1" and I get incredible leg pain driving the car.
