removing rear z28 emblem

removing rear z28 emblem

what is the best way to go about taking the z28 emblem off the rear?

I thought the "Z28" was part of the bumper. It just sticks out a little. Moulded. Perhaps I'm wrong. Many people add a vinyl graphic on top of the "Z28" to make it a certain color. You might remove that and just show the paint underneath. If there is a vinyl graphic there.

My car had a bowtie that did come off. It was just on there with double sided foam tape. It was hard to tell it was tape till I pulled hard on it.

heat it up with a blow dryer and use some fishing line to remove it. Then use some goo off or something to get that glue off. Same way you remove side molding.

Fishing line... thats a good idea, which i knew that a month ago. Just make sure you get it warm/ hot but be careful if you use a heat gun. Goo gone wroks well but its going to take quite a bit of time.

thanks for your help guys. i was able to get the emblem off easily and get it on the car.
