removing pin stripe

I have black and silver pin stripes that run down each side of my car. They have been on there since I bought the car used, so I'm assuming a dealer put them on when the car was new. I was wondering what is a good method, and product to use to remove them? I figured after getting them off I would clay bar the area and buff it out to blend it.

there is a special wheel you can buy that goes onto a cordless drill or other power tool that takes it off without harming the paint. You can then clean it up with some goo gone to get any residual glue off. I'm sure you will need to buff the area like you said. I'll try and find a link for you. I know Eastwood sells them.

Snap On makes an air tool called the CrudThug. I use this at work all the time. Its just like a big eraser wheel. This is it with the wire wheel on it...
