Removing front parking light on '99 z

They're pretty easy. Just remove the headlight. There is a 10MM bolt behind and under one of the support brackets. Remove that, slide the headlight inward towards the nose of the car. Once the headlight is out, it's a matter of 3 7MM bolts that hold the lens in.
